The FEDERICO II Journal embodies the fusion of three historic artisan traditions: Amalfi’s centuries-old papermaking heritage, Neapolitan fine bookbinding, and the royal elegance of San Leucio silk.

Inside, each journal contains approximately 66 sheets crafted individually by hand using traditional medieval methods on historic cloth moulds. This slow, disciplined process grants every page a distinctive tactile character, a rich surface texture, a delicate watermark, and natural deckled edges.

The text block is meticulously hand-sewn and bound in Naples by Master Bookbinder Flavio Aquilina, who dresses the hardcovers in opulent woven silks from the famed royal manufactory of San Leucio.
